Once a month, we host an event at the Stones Throw Brewery where we feature three to four local songwriters, each sharing their unique stories through music. Enjoy handcrafted tunes and a selection of local beer, wine, cider, and ginger ale. Whether you're a music enthusiast, a lover of lyrics, or simply looking for a great night out, come support a rotating roster of local artists and non-profits. Cheers to the magic of music and the connections it fosters!

Louis Ledford writes gorgeous Americana with the heart of a poet and the eye of a novelist.
Lala is a friend of the fairies, a singer of sweetness, & bard for the birds. Harps from the heart with a tune to tell. Representing Interstellar Intergenerational Interspecies Interdependence.
Karee Wardrop loves that the song tells the writer what wants to be written. From blues to swing to sadsongs to a cappella reminders of some other place and time, she never knows what will emerge when a song comes calling. Karee founded and coordinates the Northwest Writer's Weekend and A Wonder of Songwriters.
Aaron is a charismatic performing musician working with several projects. He revels in the space between the notes and writes really great songs.

As a part of our dedication to the community that sustains us, we donate half of the proceeds from each event to various local non-profits on a rotating basis. Your attendance not only empowers these gifted artists but also supports important causes, infusing every note and chord with a deeper sense of purpose. Through shared commitment, we can create a meaningful impact and foster unity within our community.
This month's non-profit
The mission of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services of Whatcom County (DVSAS) is to support individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation and to lead the community towards ending these abuses of power. DVSAS provides a wide range of services; everything from emergency safe housing and a 24-hour helpline to medical/legal advocacy and support groups. Last year DVSAS provided 8,414 hours of advocacy to over 1,200 clients.
